The Moretown School is a wonderful place for children to learn and grow! We challenge our students to grow mentally, physically and emotionally in an environment filled with joy, compassion, and laughter.

Moretown Middle and High School students attend Harwood Union High School. Harwood's strong spirit and emphasis on embracing student voice and empowerment create a first rate atmosphere for all members of our learning community. Harwood has a graduation rate of near 100% and consistently scores well above the state and national averages in post-secondary entrance examinations.
Moretown Elementary School (MES) is a proud member of the Harwood Unified Union School District and is consistently rated as one of the top elementary schools in the state of Vermont. Moretown Elementary provides a Pre-K to grade 6 education for all students who reside in our town. The student population of MES is approximately 140 and has approximately 25 full and part time staff members.
