1. Warm-up: Check vocab terms on Angle Pairs at Quizlet.com - click on the following link:
Definitions and Relationships of Angle Pairs
2. Take any additional notes on pp. 34-35 in your unit 1 packet.
3. Work on assistments (due 9/23!) AND any remaining work at thatquiz.org (use the codes from the email that I sent you this week to finish the 3 assignments from yesterday).
NOTE: If you got a score higher than 60, but you are not satisfied with your grade, please email me directly at teodorescu@wsps.org to reset that code for you to retake that quiz.
4. Hw due 9/21 - Finish the class work.
FYI - Assistments due on 9/23!

September 15
We discussed some more examples on finding the distance between two given points using the Pythagorean Theorem, finding the coordinates of the midpoint for a given segment and finding the coordinates of one endpoint when the other endpoint and the midpoint are given.
Hw due 9/16 - Complete p. 30 (Practice 1-8) in the unit 1 packet.
NOTE: Bring your completed work in the unit 1 packet up to p. 21, the examples on p. 30 and the classroom notes from this week to turn them in tomorrow.
FYI - Assessment #2 on finding the distance between two given points using the Pythagorean Theorem, finding the coordinates of the midpoint for a given segment and finding the coordinates of one endpoint when the other endpoint and the midpoint are given tomorrow. Please STUDY!

September 8
We did some warm-ups and practice problems on basic geometry terms and solving linear equations.
Hw due 9/9 - Finish the class work (p. 16 in the unit 1 packet: #4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36).
NOTE: Be ready to turn in your work in the end of the class tomorrow (all class work and homework that we did so far in the unit 1 packet, including any work completed in the notebook for some of the problems).
FYI - Assessment on basic geometry terms and basic postulates learned so far tomorrow. Please STUDY!

We did a warm-up on using the Segment Addition Postulate in an example, then continued working on more practice problems using the vocab words, the Ruler Postulate, the Segment Addition Postulate and the definition of a midpoint learned so far.
Hw due 9/8 - Finish the class work (any remaining practice problems up to p. 15). NOTE: Show your work as appropriate on separate paper and/ or graph paper.
FYI - All assigned work will be collected for recording on Friday. Be ready!
Quiz on the basic geometry terms learned so far, the Ruler Postulate, the Segment Addition Postulate and the definition of a midpoint. Please STUDY!
