Who?
Parents, Grandparents, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, or other older relatives are urged to become a Mystery Reader in our class this year.
What?
Mystery Readers will sign up for a day that they can come and read a special book to our class. The week before you are scheduled to come into our class to read, I will send you a reminder notice. At that time, you will be asked to compose a list of five clues which will be read aloud to the students. Beginning on Monday, I will read one clue a day. The clues should become progressively more revealing as they are shared with the students.
Where?
Sign up at Back to School Night to become a Mystery Reader in Mrs. Rosimini's second grade class. (Room 12)
When?
Mystery Readers mostly visit on Fridays, but our schedule is flexible. If a day other than Friday works best for you, please let me know and I can rearrange my schedule.
Why?
Students LOVE to guess who the Mystery Reader is going to be for that week. Once the "big secret" is revealed upon your arrival, the students enjoy having someone special read a story to them. Being a Mystery Reader benefits the children tremendously. They love having their parents, grandparents, etc. be part of their day!
