Adobe Creative Cloud

Students can download and install Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app (Adobe CC) from this page provided that they have paid the annual software fee and submitted a signed Student Responsible Use Policy form upon joining WIS.

Adobe Creative Cloud Installation Guide


IMPORANT: Before installation, please make sure you have uninstalled all trial or earlier versions of Adobe Creative Cloud on your personal device.

Before you uninstall an earlier version of Adobe CC, you may want to find the product key and installation media that came with it in case you would like to reinstall it at a later point.

Download the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App for your computer:

Win64 & MacOS Intel/M1 chip (Includes Adobe Creative Cloud Only)


After downloading Adobe Creative Cloud on your computer, you will need to unpack the zip file.

Unpack / Unzip the downloaded Adobe CC file. Right-click and extract the whole folder to a location on your computer (ex. desktop)

After extraction:

On Windows, you can double-click the setup.exe file present inside the Build folder.

On Mac OS, you can double-click the .pkg file present inside the Build folder.

Note: This will install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app on your computer, you will still need to activate your Adobe account.

Activate your Adobe Creative Cloud Account

1. Go to adobe.com and click Continue to Hong Kong SAR of China.

2. Click Sign In on the top right corner of the website.

3. Select Continue with Google

Note1. Select Enterprise / Company or School account if a selection screen is shown.

Note2. Choose to migrate your account and all files if given the option.

4. Sign in using your school gmail or select your school account if you're already signed in. Use your wisdom password to sign in.

Note. You can change the language by clicking the dropdown menu on the lower left part of the page.

5. You are now signed in to your Adobe Creative Cloud account online.

The next steps will show you how to sign in to the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app (Download).

6. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app located in the taskbar (Windows) or Apple menu bar (Mac OS):

7. Click Continue with Google to allow automatic sign in using your school Google account.

Note. Select Enterprise / Company or School account if a selection screen is shown.

8. Adobe will open a browser. Sign in to your school google account (username@wis.edu.hk) or select your account from the list. (The application may also detect your school account automatically)

9. Adobe will redirect to a confirmation screen and log in to the desktop application automatically.

10. Go to the Apps Tab on the Creative Cloud desktop app to download software that you need.
