About the Teacher

My name is Lauren Conatser and I am a 1st grade teacher here at Rutland Elementary. This will be my eighth year teaching, and third year at Rutland. I live here in Mt. Juliet and love being plugged into the community! I was a 1st grade teacher at Watertown Elementary for the first 5 years of my career, and was blessed to be nominated as the 2018-2019 teacher of the year! :)

I married Michael Conatser in March of 2015, which is what brought me to Mt. Juliet. We met at Freed- Hardeman University where he graduated with two different degrees in Business and Bible.

I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education K-5 and Special Education K-12 from Athens State University, near my hometown of Rogersville, Alabama.

By the time you're reading this, I will have just had my first child. His name is Easton! We have waited for this miracle for years now, and I can't wait to soak up every second I can with him!

I have a twin sister and a younger sister who looks like our triplet, along with two loving parents. :) My mom is also a first grade teacher so we get to collaborate even though we are in different states! Michael and I have a dog named Harper, she's our baby! I love chocolate, outdoors, sports, my family, coffee, and reading. I can't wait to meet all of you and enjoy a great year together!
