Halloween Trick or Treat

Over the past week and I half, I had a pair of calls with my colleagues around the county. Trick or treat is definitely an area of concern and something that all of us were weighing the trade offs of recommendations. Following the lead of North Adams and Pittsfield, particularly seeing a concern with an unevenness of some locations holding it and others not and the higher risk of the alternative -like indoor events (see attached article with similar comments from Governor.)

Borrowing liberally from North Adams and Pittsfield, I put together a set of draft guidelines in collaboration with Jeff Kennedy and reviewed and amended with Board of Health on 10/8. They have endorsed these guidelines.

I'll go through these at the meeting and discuss how this may impact of the logistics around encouraging participant and vehicle safety.
