BUILDING

Chopsticks was certified for reopening last week on Friday the 2nd.

There is continual progress on the bookstore and science center at Williams.

Pouring of footings and foundations have begun at the High School.

The 9th edition of the Building Code begins a concurrency period on Jan. 1. It become sole code on July 1.

HEALTH

Jeff Kennedy has completed stable and livestock inspections in Williamstown.

The Board of Health has approved annual permit renewals at its 15/5 meeting. Several permit holders have until 12/31 to submit their renewal applications, with the appropriate fee and late fee or their permit will expire, and they will have to cease operations.

Jeff Kennedy has been inspecting food establishments and rental dwelling units.

LAND USE

The Planning Board continues work on developing their planning for the future of housing in Williamstown with Mass Housing Partnership. This project, Williamstown's Future Neighborhoods, will launch in January and seek community input on housing throughout the winter and spring of '17.

At 6 pm on Tuesday the 13th the Planning Board will hear a report from Williams College Planning students. This project is an update and revision to the 1999 Build Out Analysis done by UMass Amherst.

Con Com meets tonight to approve an Order of Conditions for the 330 Cole Avenue. Con Com is also actively working with the development team for the new Williams Inn on pre-development

ZBA meets on the 15th to review the hotel proposed for 430 Main and the 330 Cole Avenue housing development proposal.
