MassDOT Capital Investment meeting

Post date: Apr 15, 2016 3:40:30 PM

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is pleased to announce a series of statewide meetings designed to seek public feedback on the draft 2017-2021 Capital Investment Plan (CIP). Attached is a notice highlighting 15 upcoming CIP meetings around the Commonwealth. Last fall MassDOT conducted a series of meetings called Capital Conversations to seek public input on how MassDOT should prioritize projects and spend capital dollars on transportation infrastructure and assets. The feedback gathered was used as part of the development of the CIP. All divisions of MassDOT are represented in this 5 year capital spending plan. Strategic capital investments in roads, bridges, MBTA, Rail and Transit, Aeronautics and RMV Operations benefit everyone in Massachusetts. Public participation is critical to its success. We encourage you to please review the attached notice, participate in one or more of these meetings and help spread the word in your community. This notice is also provided in 6 translated versions (Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese Simplified and Traditional, Vietnamese and Haitian Creole) for non-English speaking communities.
