Community Development Department

Sarah Hurlbut began her maternity leave on Tuesday April 19, Owen Hurlbut was born on April 20. Sarah will return to the office in July and in the interim Community Development is in good hands with Julie Snow from the Finance Department providing coverage and customer service support.

BUILDING

Ryan continues to have pre construction meetings for the Science Center and Bookstore projects. The department is in the process of setting up such meetings for the MGRHS project as well.

Cable Mills received a temporary CO two weeks ago. The first residents are now moved in. Work continues on remaining units.

HEALTH

Jeff has been performing spot inspections on restaurants and has begun inspections for seasonal operations. He is on vacation this week and will return for Monday the 25th.

LAND USE

Zoning Board meets on 4 / 21 to look at a permit for a small deck extension to a non conforming home on Church St.

Conservation Commission meets 4 / 28 to review an NOI for a septic replacement on Hopper Road.

Planning Board has a special meeting on 4 / 28 to continue discussing the possibility of a Board sponsored floor amendment to the Waubeeka citizen's petition.
