Mr. Kjentvet's Science Class
I am excited to be the 5th grade science teacher. My love of science goes back as far as I can remember.
My philosophy in the science classroom goes back to the teaching of one of my college professors who taught me the HO3 method. I believe, as he did, that in order to be a successful science teacher my students need to have the following:
HO - Heads ON
HO - Hands ON
HO - Hearts ON
Current Area of Study
Welcome to the new school year. We will start off the year learning about communicable and noncommunicable diseases. You will learn how to protect yourself against pathogens (those nasty microorganisms that make you sick).
We then will be moving into the phases of the moon.
