Personalized learning systems accelerate and deepen learning by tailoring instruction to each student’s individual needs, skills, and interests. Students have a variety of rich learning experiences that collectively will prepare them for success in the college and career of their choice. Teachers create a classroom environment that enables student voice and choice, deeper learning and agency, while ensuring students develop the knowledge, skills and dispositions that lead to success.

How can I make class and lessons meaningful?
- Intersection of best and next practice (next practice is using technology to accomplish best practice at a higher level) Think: SAMR.
- Surprise and delight (consider wearing a costume when reading a novel, bring in cooking ingredients when studying fractions, etc)
- Yes....and mentality rather than yes...but or no....but (refuse to look at problems as unsolvable)
