WMS Softball
Announcements:
1/31/23- Attention all 8th graders interested in playing WMS softball this spring: Fliers are posted around the school and outside the main office. Please fill out the QR code if you are interested in playing. More info about the season to follow. For questions, see Coach Buckheit.

Times:
*Sign up/Information meeting to be held on: Monday, March 21, 2022 @ 2:30 in room 243. Bring your iPad!
*Practices = at Sprague Field M-TH (occasional FRI) from 2:45-4:15/30. Upon arrival, stretch and warm-up before 3pm start.
*First practice= Week of April 4th (weather dependent). Dress warm/in layers.
*Rain- If fields are closed due to weather, practices might be held in Gym A or B at 3:20 (have sneakers!)
*Bus leaves at 2:45 pm for all AWAY contests. Be dressed and ready to catch the bus outside of GYM A.
*Arrive ready to play at 2:45 pm for all home games (3:45 start) for pregame warm-up.
*Parent meeting- TBD (after practice on Sprague Field #1)

The schedule below is the unofficial game/practice schedule.
*Please wear athletic clothing/softball clothes for practices. Game uniforms will be provided for the season.
Equipment:
-All bats must meet MIAA requirements: ASA 2000 or ASA 2004
-Cleats ARE NOT ALLOWED to be worn IN THE BUILDING.
-Med Kit: If you have any personal "medical" equipment, such as a self-administered inhaler or eye contacts, please leave a spare in the med kit. This will provide you quick access if needed during the season.
