About me

My name is Matt Buckheit (he/him) and I am excited to welcome you to my classroom website. I am looking forward to this school year! I moved to the Boston area in 2012. Before that I grew up and lived on Long Island, New York. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Romance Languages at Dowling College (NY) and my Master's Degree in Teaching Students with Disabilities at Touro College (NY). I started working at WMS in 2016. I love sports and have coached many including football, lacrosse, soccer, softball, and basketball. My favorite hobbies are athletics, cooking, and fishing.
