2) How and why do chimpanzees use tools?

3) What surprised you while watching this film?

Homework: Answer the questions about the movie and be prepared to discuss them on Monday.

In class, we took up the class work from yesterday (forensic anthropology, p. 44-45) and we began learning about primatology.

  1. We brainstormed the similarities and differences between humans and other primates (monkeys, lemurs, chimpanzees, orangutans, etc.).
  2. We read about primatology in the textbook (p. 46-48) and answered questions #1-4 on p. 48. We took them up at the end of class.

No homework was assigned.
