WCPSS Technology Help Desk
Contact the WCPSS Technology Help Desk if your staff laptop needs repair. You can call the Help Desk (919.664.5700) or fill out an online help desk form by clicking the red 'Technology Help Desk' app button in your WakeID Portal.
Student Chromebooks
Students new to WCPSS: The PHMS grade level counselor requests a Chromebook from technology services for students who are new to the district. Chromebooks are delivered within 2 weeks and Ziller will contact teams when a new student's Chromebook is ready for pick up in the Library.
Students transferring from within WCPSS: New PHMS students who are coming from another WCPSS school should already have a Chromebook assigned to them.
If a student Chromebook has a cracked screen, missing keys, or hardware issues, CORE TEACHERS are to place a technology help desk call for the student device. Instructions for placing a help desk call can be found on the staff tech guide: https://sites.google.com/wcpss.net/gradebookdirections/chromebooks.
If a student needs a replacement charger, they fill out the Charger Request Form linked on the Destiny Discover homepage.
