Talent Development Program: Building Potential

The Talent Development (TD) program is a potential-building phase for high-performing students who do not yet meet the full AIG criteria.

• Placement: Students cannot be nominated for TD; they are placed there by the SBCGE if they show high potential during an AIG evaluation.

• Proactive Monitoring: This is a supportive "waiting room" where the AIG Coordinator monitors student grades, state testing, and teacher feedback. This ongoing data collection determines if a student should be re-evaluated for AIG identification in the future.
