In-Class Environment
Students receive most of their services within the regular ELA and Mathematics classrooms.
Differentiation: Teachers provide learning opportunities and assignments that are rigorous and complex. While assignments cover the same core content as the rest of the class, the complexity is increased for AIG learners.
Grading: To ensure consistent academic tracking, AIG student grades are managed by their regular education teachers in collaboration with our program standards.
Collaboration & Enrichment
Coordinator Support: The AIG Coordinator "pushes in" to classrooms to co-teach, monitor student work, and facilitate small-group tasks.
Enrichment Pull-Outs: Beginning in 2025-2026, the AIG Coordinator will lead small-group sessions in a separate classroom during scheduled enrichment time. These sessions occur at least twice per semester per subject (Reading/Math) and focus on standards-based critical thinking.
