Jazz Lab

Thursdays 3:30-4:30 Beginning OCTOBER 3rd

Jazz Lab is an after school jazz ensemble that meets Thursday afternoons from 3:30 – 4:30.

No jazz experience is required or expected and all grades are welcome.

All instruments are welcome, but members must demonstrate proficiency on their instrument.

Upright or electric bass, guitar, and piano students needed!

Jazz Lab focuses on learning playing rock and jazz styles such as blues, swing, and Latin. An emphasis will be made on learning and using improvisational skills, which are the cornerstone of jazz music.

Private lessons are not required but are encouraged, especially for percussionists wanting to play drum set and guitarists. We need at least one pianist for Jazz Lab! Please see Ms. Pagano if you are interested.
