Class of 2026 and beyond - Students must earn 1/2 credit of Financial Literacy while in high school.
The ACT is a college admissions test that most colleges accept. The test is offered six times throughout the school year on Saturday morning and students must register approximately 5 weeks in advance. The test is targeted for juniors to take in the spring of the junior year, so that they may have scores for Senior year fall college applications. The SAT is another college admissions test. A student must pre-register for the SAT approximately four weeks prior to testing. The SAT measures verbal and mathematical reasoning ability important for academic performance in college. The SAT is also accepted by most colleges, and is offered seven times throughout the school year on Saturday morning. SAT is offered by College Board, which also offers a wealth of information on colleges for students and parents.
