FUNDRAISING POLICY
· The Watsonville Jr Wildcatz (WJW) has its own Fundraising Policy that can be found in the Parent Agreement. The Parent Agreement can be found in the Welcome Packet received at the time of registration. The policy is enforced and failure to comply can result in suspended privileges. The Watsonville Jr Wildcatz Board (WJWB) does have the right to change this policy at any time deemed necessary. Policy is as follows:
FUNDRAISING:
A. Understand that if Parent participates in any fundraiser, it is their full responsibility for any items signed out and will return any unsold signed out items and all monies collected to WJWB.
B. For any fundraisers that do not require you to sign out items, it is Parent responsibility to collect all monies and deliver any items sold.
C. WJWB is not responsible or will not be held liable for any items or monies that end up missing or lost that were the responsibility of the Parent.
D. Understand that any unreturned monies or unsold items will be billed to child account. This circumstance may lead to revoked fundraising privileges for the Parent for all their children in the league and may also affect your child’s further participation with the league.
E. Understand that each fundraiser has its set deadlines and you must abide by all deadlines. You further understand that if you miss a deadline set forth by WJWB, your order will not be fulfilled, in the case that an order needs to be submitted, and it will be the Parent responsibility to communicate with all customers who placed an order and return them their money. WJW will not be held liable for any unreturned monies to customers that are the Parent responsibility to return.
F. Understand that WJWB contracts directly with companies and individuals for their fundraising opportunities. It is prohibited for any Parent to call any fundraising companies or individuals contracted with WJWB to personally negotiate a contract using the WJW name for personal use and/or without approval from WJWB. It is also prohibited for any Parent to directly contact any companies and individuals contracted with the WJWB to try to negotiate a personal offer at the negotiated organization's offering and/or for the use of WJW logo. Violation of this rule is strictly enforced and is subject for immediate removal of our program.
G. Understand that participating in fundraising is a privilege and the privilege can be removed at the discretion of the WJWB for any reason deemed feasible.
