Images

Adding images to your Site is pretty straightforward.

1. Choose where you want the image to appear.
2. Select the Insert menu and then Image

Formatting Images

When an image is added to a page, an options menu will also be displayed above or below the image. This allows you to set the size of the image (S, M, L, Original) and also its horizontal position on the page (L, C, R). Finally, you can choose whether text wraps around the image (Wrap ON) or if it ends above the image and starts again below the image (Wrap OFF). Experiment with different settings to find out what works for your page.

This Options menu can also be accessed on existing images by clicking once on the image when editing the page.

Comments & Tips form

Image on Computer or shared drive

If the image is on your computer, select Browse and locate the image and upload it. Click the Add Image button at the bottom of the dialogue and your image will appear on the page.

Image on the web

If the image is online, for instance Flickr, select Web address (URL) from the above dialogue. Enter the web address for the picture and then Add Image and that's it.

Remember that there are copyright laws so either ask permission to use the photo or use ones with an appropriate licence such as Creative Commons.
