Lunch Bunch Book club/ Book Swap (Ages 8 - 11)

“Build a Better World with Kindness”—that is the theme of our kids summer book club. Our book choice, Wonder, fits this theme well and this is your chance to read it before the movie comes out in the fall! Monthly meetings will be on Friday, June 16th and Friday, July 14th from 11:00-1:00. Participation is limited to 15 and a lunch will be provided at both meetings, so registration is required. You may stop by the children’s desk or call to register. At our first meeting, we will share book recommendations and make book “fortune tellers” and watch a book trailer for the book Wonder by R.J. Palacio. Have some books lying around your house you don’t want any longer? Everyone is invited to bring any books they are willing to exchange for another book. Extra books will be on hand for those who may not have one to swap. At our second meeting, we will have a book discussion along with games and fun prizes!

Make-it @ your library!

Drop in between 10:00-noon on these Thursdays: June 15th, June 22nd, June 28th, July 6th, and July 13th (Ages 8 & up)

Building challenges, paper airplanes, Legos, origami, and art--these are just some examples of what we will have for you to participate in on Thursday mornings. We will have a different building or art project each week.
