California Table Grape Agricultural Scholarship

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

High school graduates or students graduating in 2023.

• Resident of California table grape growing regions (Coachella or San Joaquin valleys)

• Planning to pursue a four-year undergraduate degree in a field of study pertinent to table grapes.

• Enrolled full time in a four-year California university or college in the Fall of 2024

California Table Grape Field Worker Scholarship

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• The applicant, a parent, or a legal guardian must have been employed as a field worker in a California table grape vineyard during the 2022 harvest season or plan to be employed during the 2024 season.

• Applicants must be high school graduates or high school seniors graduating in 2023.

The 2024 Beverage Industry College Scholarship Program

Amount: $3,000-$6,000

Criteria: Have a parent and/or grandparent that own or employed by an individual or corporation holding a California liquor license; This includes restaurants, retailers, distributors, airlines, suppliers, hotels, on-premise, etc.; Involved in extra-curricular high school activities during both junior and senior year.

Scholarships for Military Children

Amount: $2,000

Criteria: Must be a dependent child under age of 23 of: active duty personnel, reserve/guard, retired military members, or survivors of service members who died while on active duty or survivors  of individuals who died while receiving retired pay from military; Eligibility will be determined using DEERS (Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System) database. To verify enrollment: go to www.dmdc.osd.mil or call 1-800-538-9552; Plan to enroll in the Fall in a full time undergraduate program leading to BA at an accredited US college or university. If planning on community college, must intend to transfer directly to a 4 year. Min. 3.0 GPA

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

Eligibility:

Must be of Hispanic heritage

U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA

Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students

Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school in the U.S., for the 2024-2025 academic year

Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)

Housing Authority of Tulare County Scholarship

Amount: $1,500 for full-time students in a four-year college or university; $500 for full-time junior college or vocational students

California Association of Winegrape Growers Scholarship

Amount: Varies ($2000- $8000) 

Criteria:  Only the children with a parent or legal guardian employed by a California vineyard during the current or previous winegrape growing season are eligible to apply. However, children with a parent or legal guardian employed by a California winegrape grower may request a waiver from this eligibility requirement based upon financial need. Robert Miller Scholarship ApplicationAmount: $500-$1,000Criteria: Be a Central Coast high school senior graduating in 2024 or a student enrolled at Alan Hancock Community College or Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.Plan to major, or are majoring in, viticulture or enology at either Alan Hancock Community College or Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.Complete the application form.Attach an official high school transcript and/or most current class enrollment and transcription forms.Provide a letter of recommendation from a high school instructor, the school principal, or high school counselor or college instructor, counselor, or college administrator.
