Extra Credit Information
As we start estimating more nonlinear functions and doing other more advanced things it would be nice to have a deeper understanding of distributions and know how to simulate things in stata.
Below are some notes and links to podcasts, please print off the notes and use them to follow along with the podcasts:
For extra credit points please complete the extra credit assignment below. The assignment is worth 25 extra credit points added into your final grade. Note that it will be very tough to receive all 25 points, but partial points will be awarded. For your own benefit try to focus on the big picture ideas while doing this assignment (what distributions look like, what they are used for, how to simulate things in stata,...).
