Welcome to my web page. I am a Professor of Biology in the Department of Integrated Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at Rock County. My course offerings include Foundations of Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Ornithology, Natural History of Wisconsin, and many others. In addition to teaching, I have enjoyed serving the institution in various administrative positions, including Division Chair, Department Chair, and as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. I am an entomologist, and my primary area of research is the mayfly fauna of the Midwest. I also participate in various ornithological studies, including a long-term study of birds at the Cook Arboretum in Janesville.
