An Educational Game of Greek Mythology: "Mythomperdemata"

"Mythomperdemata" was developed by Evangelopoulou Olympia in the context of her MSs thesis. This game's theme is Greek mythology and its purpose is to be used by 3rd grade's Primary School students in order for them to be taught the History lessons that contain mythology. The game "Mythomperdemata", was designed based on the commonly accepted Educational Games Design Model of Ibrahim & Jaafar (2009) and was implemented using Scratch 2.0 programming language. Upon its completion, the game was evaluated by 21 people from the field of education, as for the acceptance from themselves and from the students, its didactic utility, its ergonomic, technological and teaching usability and its environment. The evaluation results are very encouraging, since all the above factors were evaluated positively, while all respondents said they would use the game to teach mythology.
