Research Interests
My research interests focus on the following topics:
1. Translation Studies, particularly media translation, political translation, news translation and journalistic translation.
2. Translation between English and Central Kurdish.
3. Discourse, ideology and translation.
Undergraduate Translation Projects
Supervision
I supervised a large number of undergraduate translation projects since 2009. These projects are completed by fourth stage students in English Department and Translation Department. All of these projects focus on translation problems and solutions related to translating between English and Central Kurdish in a variety of subject field, such as politics, medicine, biochemistry, psychiatry, psychology, technology, and so on.
