Research Interests

My research interests are in multidisciplinary areas of nanotechnology; including, fabrication of different types of nano-scale materials, organic, metallic, and chalcogenides using different approaches, both bottom up and top down strategies. The ultimate goal of our group is using nanoparticles in other applications, such as, as an analytical tool for determination of a particular metal ion, anion, or organic compound in different matrices. In biology, as in bioimaging, antibacterial and anti-fungi activities.
