Outline Biography

-I am Dr.Hazhaow Omer M.Murad. I was born in Sulaimani city.

-I had finished my primary and secondary school in Baghdad city.

- I had my BSc in Veterinary Medicine at college of Veterinary Medicine at 1995.

-I had received my MSc degree in Public Health/ Food Hygiene at College of Veterinary Medicine/ University of Baghdad at 1999.

- I had gained my PhD in Food Hygiene and Quality Control at college of Veterinary Medicine/ University of Sulaimani at 2012.

- I have appointed at the College of Veterinary Medicine / University of Sulaimani at 2000.

- I have received the post of Assistant dean at the same college at 2001 till 2008.

- I was a Head of Microbiology dept. at the same college since 2012 till 2017.

- I have been involved in dozens and dozens of committees at the college and at the University level.

-I have got dozens letters of appreciation from, the Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Agriculture, President of University of Suliamni, Directory of Veterinary/ Suliamani and Dohuk, both syndicate of Sulaimani and Dohuk, College of Vet. Medicine.

- I had participate in many workshops and training programs as main speaker and member, I have also participate as volunteer in many social events , specially by spreading the food safety idea among the students of primary and secondary schools.

Research Interests

Its includes the following fields;

1. Food safety.

2. Food Hygiene.

3.Meat inspection.

4. Food analysis.

5.Food microbiology (Food producing animals)
