- Recruitment and confirmation of Teachers and other Academic Support Staff.
- Appropriate and timely actions for renewals/extension of contracts, promotions, within-grade increments, and performance evaluations and terminations;ensures timely notice to staff.
- Promote equity, transparency and consistency in the interpretation, determination and administration of conditions of service, terms of employment, benefits and allowances in accordance with Administrative Regulations (AR) and rules; imposed by UGC, University and by other relevant authorities.
- Advise management and staff on correct interpretation and application of circulars, policies and procedures.
- Support the office's administrative and technical needs for academic department of studies by implementing and administering effective and speedy recruitment procedures.
- Coordinating disciplinary matters of Teachers and Academic Support Staff.
- Leave of Teachers and other Academic Support Staff.
- Contribute to the budget preparation and review process through an analysis of staffing pattern and needs of the office.
- Participate in management meetings in connection with academic staff planning and management.
- Maintaining Personal files of Teachers and Academic Support Staff.
- Provide secretary role at the Leave and Awards Committee Meeting
