Abstract
The study was carried out to determine the Malay language among college coaches and explores the influence of attitudes toward mastery of Malay grammar. The approach used in this study is the correlation and the 'Ex -post Facto' in which a total of 400 respondents from the final year trainees who are enrolled in eight colleges base Teachers College. Data obtained by using a questionnaire and Special Tests Grammar. This study found that the share of Malay grammar at SPM is range but there was no difference in men and women. Is different among racial and socioeconomic status. In addition, the trainee teachers' attitudes were found to influence the medium and low on mastery of grammar while in college. Based on these findings, some practical suggestions recommended that trainees master the Malay language grammar.
