Abstract
In order to achieve the objectives of teaching and learning, many problems need to be identified and addressed by the various parties. This problem is due to several factors such as the structure of the internal control mechanism or autopoietik and external control mechanisms or alopoietik, factors of intelligence, home environment factors, and family factors as socioeconomic status of students. The decisive role of internal control and external control of the new cybernetic element in reading, are analyzed based on the data collected in this study. For the purposes of collecting data, two methods are used, the Thinking Methods of Expression and Methods Back In Oral Narrative. This study is descriptive, i.e study using data collected on an experiment using three essay excerpt, the Science Oriented Essay, Essay Oriented Literature, and Composition-Oriented Religion. The result is the comparison between samples in high school in the city with a sample of rural schools. In the category Thinking Expression, found that 100% of a sample of secondary schools in the city were able to hypotheses than 93% from the sample of rural schools . The narrative category Back In Oral, 100% of the samples from the high school in the city has managed to express the idea that there is support in the text of the sample compared to 93% of rural schools. The study showed that 60% of the samples could mention back fill material in the text and the environment greatly affects the narrative category Back In Oral.
