Information on exam
An exam session is scheduled in each the following periods:
June 2026
July 2026
September 2026
November 2026 - reserved to students enrolled in their third year or higher
January 2027
February 2027
April 2027 - reserved to students enrolled in their third year or higher

The exam includes a written part and an oral part.
The written part is one-hour long, and students will be asked to solve some problems. During the written part students will not be allowed to either consult material or use calculators.
The oral exam consists in answering to theoretical questions and to write a Matlab script and/or to prepare a Simulink model.
The written part counts for 10 points and the oral part counts for 21 points. The exam grade is the sum of the written and oral grades.
Students must obtain at least 5 points in the written part to be admitted to the oral part.
Students that do well the howework assigned during the course will be waived from taking the written part and from writing a Matlab script and/or to prepare a Simulink model at the oral exam.
Students are required to bring a valid and official identification (e.g. Italian driver license, Italian residence permit, passport) or Sapienza student card at both written and oral part.
