So...Board Games (and Card Games)
Chances are, you've probably played at least one board game in your life. Maybe it was something simple, like Monopoly, Sorry!, Life, Scrabble, and so on. You've probably played card games too, whether you were playing Go Fish, Texas Hold 'Em, Euchre, or something else with a traditional card deck, or if it was something like Uno that used it's own special card deck.
While these games were fun and all in their own right, they may have gotten a little bit boring in the recent years. You've grown older, and you may have found that these games don't necessarily have a huge amount of depth to them. You might have found out a strategy or way to play the game that makes you win Risk or Monopoly time and time again, and it's made it a bit dull. Or you might have just played/seen them so many times they just have gotten boring that way.
Luckily for you, there exists many other types of games far beyond these family games many are familiar with. Ranging from highly strategic tactical games to social/party games that pits everyone's lying and bluffing abilities against another, there is a whole new world out there with all sorts of tabletop games.
There's a bit too much for us to talk about here, but there are tons and tons of resources out there to help you find out about all sorts of board games. We posted a few resources down below for you to look at, but you can find a lot more in the Table of Useful Resources and through searching the web. Got a few questions you want to ask the community? Drop by the forums to post them, or you can also try asking our mentors.
