These are some of the resources that I created while teaching a workshop-style scientific communication course to upper-level undergraduates engaged in biopsychology and cognitive psychology research at the University of Michigan in 2008-2010 (PSYCH 331). These resources include the syllabus, detailed description of the assignments, as well as a variety of tools to help learn scientific writing and presentation. The most useful tool is probably the APA-style example pages - an attempt to make the structure of a scientific paper feel as transparent as possible. Due to the time constraints for the class, these example pages were adapted to fit the format of a proposal instead of a full manuscript.
