Announcements and upcoming events regarding the MAC-EPID community.
Please submit news items to MAC-EPIDNews@umich.edu such as events, research results/papers, dissertation defense dates, awards, alumni updates, etc. All announcements prior to November 2020 can be found here.
MAC-EPID's biggest events are the two symposia that it hosts every school year.
Leading up to each symposium interested students, faculty, and staff form a journal club that meets regularly to discuss papers recommended by the symposium speakers. For more information contact Anna Cronenwett (weaverd@umich.edu).
We try to direct waste from all MAC-EPID events away from the landfill by composting and recycling whenever possible. This is in fitting with the university's zero-waste program.
MAC-EPID also holds weekly meetings throughout the school year. Interested students, faculty and staff should contact Dr. Betsy Foxman (bfoxman@umich.edu) for more information. Meetings are held online during the current pandemic.
