I have applied and obtained a Tensor SUMMA grant for the project Mathematically Making our Stories Heard (MMoSH) in the academic year 2021-2022. In this project, the participants will read, reflect, meet authors, and write their own mathematical resilience stories following the example of the book Living Proof.

I am part of the leadership team of the Alliance for Michigan IBL (AMIIBL), a regional community of IBL practitioners. I have also facilitated introductory IBL workshops in June 2020 and 2021.

At the University of Michigan, I was chair of the Graduate Student Advisory Board (which facilitates communication between graduate students, faculty, and administrators) and served as the student representative on the Climate Committee (which addresses climate issues in the Math Department). Moreover, I was treasurer of the University of Michigan student chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics. I was also an elected representative to the Rackham Student Government, the body representing the whole graduate student body at the University of Michigan.
