Automatic Building Change Detection for Protecting Pipeline Infrastructures

1. Objective

Automatically detect changes between the buildings in a given region at two different states in time for protecting pipeline infrastructures. Detected changes include building area, location and height.

Sample change detection results for a challenging urban area. In the visualized results on the bottom, red areas indicate regions identified in the previous time’s building regions, blue areas indicate the algorithm’s detection results not included in the previous time’s building regions and green shows the overlap of the two sets of regions.
