Get to know Mrs. Parkhurst-
This is my 16th year as a school counselor.  I have been at Sandy Ridge since the school opened, and I am very proud and happy to be a RAM!  I did my Masters in Counseling at UNC Charlotte and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC# 95079) and an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor #6930) in the state of North Carolina. I love my job as an elementary school counselor!  I am passionate about supporting students and helping them gain skills to be more successful at school and in life.

Away from Sandy Ridge, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. I love being outside, music, cooking, and photography.
