We are seeking children aged 5 to 7 years who have been diagnosed with autism.
Are you concerned about your child's language skills? We are offering free mini language assessments as part of a research study!
Families are invited to join our study, “Inferential Comprehension Difficulties in Young Children, Making the Invisible Visible”, which aims to better understand how children comprehend language and the impacts it has on their daily communication. Participation includes two 50-minute sessions, at your home or in the LCL lab. Children will take part in activities like listening to stories, answering questions, and looking at pictures. In appreciation, families will receive a mini assessment report with results and strategies to support their child’s communication.
Email lclab@ualberta.ca for more information or to participate!
