Emma Williams graduated from Dalhousie University in 2024 with a Bachelor's of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Neuroscience with an Undergraduate Certificate in Genetics. In 2025, Emma joined the Autism Research Centre as a Research Assistant.
Emma has research experience in neuronal signalling dynamics and structuring, and more recently in autism spectrum disorder, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, and pediatric clinical research equity. Emma will be starting a Master's of Science in Pediatrics under the supervision of Dr. Lonnie Zwaigenbaum in September 2025.
Emma's current work includes coordination of the Pediatric Autism Research Cohort (PARC) study in Edmonton, a demographic review of PARC participation in Manitoba, and work on the One Child Every Child project focusing on the capacity for diagnosis of autism by community pediatricians.
