Extra Duty Pay Schedule

Certified employees of Missouri school districts working on a regular basis of 17 hours a week or more are required by state law to belong to the Public School Retirement System (PSRS) or non-certified employees working on a regular basis of 20 hours a week or more to belong to the Public Education Employee Retirement System (PEERS).  Both retirement plans are defined benefit plans providing retirement, disability, and death benefits to members.  Members are vested after five years of service.

The District's medical insurance is with Aetna.  The district pays $542.94 per month toward the premium.  When the employee elects health insurance, they also receive a $50,000 life insurance policy.  To be eligible for health insurance, the employee must work at least 32.5 hours per week.

Employees whose assignments call for 12 months of full-time employment will receive 12 days of annual leave.   Employees whose assignments call for full-time employment only during the regular school term will received 10 days of annual leave.

A complimentary employee pass is given to all employees each year.  This pass entitles employees, their spouse and elementary-age children entry into district sporting events at no cost.

For further information on any of these benefits, contact the Superintendent’s office at 103 East Ninth Street, Carrollton, MO 64633 or call 660-542-2769.
