To use FAFSA you must follow these steps--

1. Create a Federal Student Aid ID-go to this link to create your ID https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm

2. 18-year-old males must register with the selective service to apply for financial aid. You can

register at www.sss.gov (females can avoid this step)

3. Apply for financial aid (this is the only site to apply for financial aid) www.fafsa.ed.gov
