Phillip Wrigley has taught at Topeka High School since 2013. Before joining the team in Topeka, he taught in Lawrence and Kansas City, coached swimming, and had a lot of fun as an outdoor educator. He graduated with honors from the University of Kansas, where he majored in anthropology and history, and earned his M.Ed. at Rockhurst University. He currently teaches US Government, World History, US History, English for Speakers of Other Languages, AVID, and Trojan Time. Outside the classroom he coaches the Scholars Bowl team and works to make education in Kansas better for all. Other than teaching his interests include singing, swimming, camping, nature, science, traveling with his wife, Paula, and exploring the wide, wonderful world with their daughter, Cara.
