I received a BSE with emphasis in French and English from the University of Kansas. I have taught French, English, Journalism, Yearbook and Newspaper over the years. I obtained my MLS from Emporia State University and have been the Media Specialist at THS since 1997.

After teaching English for a number of years, I began working as assistant librarian at Topeka High School in the fall of 2014. It has been a great experience so far, and I know I will continue to enjoy it. I love to share the joy of reading and books, as well as give any assistance I can to students and teachers. I also enjoy working with our IT staff and with students and their Chromebook issues.

The library at THS is a lively, beautiful place to work and I'm happy to be a part of it.
