Technologies developed

  • Developed a composting technology for the biodegradation of lignin rich waste coir dust.
  • Bioconversion of lignin rich wastes to value added chemicals and humus rich polycondensates
  • Developed biocomposting technology and specific bioinoculants for composting paper factory waste and sugar factory waste to use as organic manure at Seshasayee Paper Mills Pvt. Ltd, Cauvery and Ponni Sugars Pvt. Ltd., Erode.
  • Developed biocomposting technology and bacterial inoculants for composting tannery solid waste and agro-waste for use as organic manure at M/s Abdul Azeez Co., Erode.
  • Was one of the scientist involved in the development of Azophos, a dual biofertilizer inoculum containing N fixer and phosphate solubilizer.
  • Involved in the development of Silicate Solubilizing Bacteria (SSB) and Zinc Solubilizing Bacteria (ZSB) and worked with student’s thesis work
  • Was involved in the development of a cheap carrier material black ash for Biofertilizers, to reduce production cost and waste utilization.
  • Developed a low-cost efficient technology for biological treatment of community wastewater.
  • Developed Streptomyces violaceusniger, a hyper laccase producing actinomycete for applications in agriculture and bioremediation.
