Salman Khan created a collection of about 4,000 videos that teach topics including math, history, economics, and many sciences. It all began when, to tutor his cousins remotely, he put up youtube videos for them to watch. Others stumbled upon the tutorial videos, including Ann Doerr and then Bill Gates...and the rest is history.
Patrick Jones has taught at community colleges and universities for 8 years and tutored for 15 years. He also wrote Calculus: 1001 Practice Problems for Dummies. His videos are generally 5-10 minutes long and directly to the point.
