MEMBERSHIP
Students who wish to apply for membership to Mu Alpha Theta must meet the qualifications outlined in the BHS Chapter Constitution (see tab above).
To apply for membership, please print and fill out the form attached below. Printed copies can be obtained from Ms Collier in Room 201 at BHS and will also be passed out by club officers during homeroom for the first week of school. Return the form by 9/5/2025 and await your acceptance letter before paying the $30 dues, which are due shortly thereafter on 9/19/2025. The induction ceremony is planned for Tuesday 9/30/2025 in the school cafeteria from 6:00 to 6:30 pm (time may be changed slightly at beginning of school year). The induction ceremony is not mandatory but does count as the first meeting of the school year (see constitution for attendance/merit requirements).
OFFICERS
Officer elections are made at the end of the school year for positions in the following year.
Students who wish to apply to be placed on the ballot to run for a Mu Alpha theta officer position must meet the qualifications outlined in the BHS Chapter Constitution (see tab above). NOTE: Officers for the 2025-2026 school year were completed at the end of the last school year. Officer Applications for the following year will be posted in March and will be due mid-April. Please print and complete the form, or obtain a hardcopy from Ms Collier. When submitting the form, please schedule your interview time with the Executive Board. If all criteria are met, you will be placed on the ballot for the May meeting election.
