Questions?... JLindholm@THSrocks.us
At Trinity, our volleyball program builds confidence, teaches time management, team work, prioritization, positive mind set, and encourages healthy spiritual, physical and emotional practices.
There is no better way for 7th and 8th grade students to become oriented with Trinity H.S. than to join a Trinity Jr. High team. Being a member of the volleyball team gives girls a chance to:
meet and learn from the Trinity H.S. coaches and players;
become familiarized with THS and many requirements and procedures expected at the high school level;
learn and practice basic to advanced volleyball skills;
learn how to play the game at an appropriate level for each player;
meet girls from other feeder schools with common interests;
and decide if volleyball could be an interest during the players' high school years.
"Tryouts" are on March 9th & 10th, tentatively from 5:00-7:00PM (dates and times subject to change). We love new players; no prior experience is necessary to make the team. We take as many players as we can.
Practices are generally held on two to four days a week from Monday-Thursday
Matches take about 3 hours of the players' evening starting anywhere between 3:45 and 6:00. Transportation is provided to matches that are far away and families often carpool for closer matches.
Conflicts: In every Jr High season we work with players, who also play AAU basketball, LAX, field hockey, gymnastics, participate in horseback riding, musicals and academic fairs, confirmation preparation as well as other school and community activities. We are very flexible with our players' busy schedules. The development of time management skills is a positive side-effect of a busy schedule. So, to encourage the use of these skills, missing practice for a long-term academic assignment is unexcused, because student-athletes must learn to work ahead.
Players MAY NOT TRYOUT w/o the completion of the first TWO requirements below.
Deadline: February 20th, 2026
1. Sports Physical (CIPPE) - Family ID Due by deadline
Here is this Physical Form, CiPPE25-26, which can also be found on the site, on the right, under "Links."
The physical form must be printed, completed, scanned (or photographed), and uploaded to the Family ID site (link above) no later than February 20th.
NOTE: any physicals dated last June 1st or later count for the spring season. Physicals may be performed by family doctors, OSS, and urgent care facilities, often without an appointment. Call ahead, and don't forget to bring the physical form for the physician to sign.
2. Online VB Registration Form
3. Online Conflict Calendar - Can be completed after tryouts.
4. REMIND Can be completed after tryouts.
"REMIND" allows us to text important reminders, updates, and details to parents and players. Please consider adding your AND your daughter's cells to REMIND, as it keeps you all in the loop and encourages players to learn to be the primary communicator with the coaches.
No need to sign up for this if you were on it last year.
Send a text to: 81010. Send this message: @TJrHVB
5. Registration Fee:
Please write a CHECK to "Trinity H.S."
in an envelope "c/o Coach Lindholm"

Thank you to everyone for trying out and for your interest in our team. Players selected for the Trinity Jr. High Volleyball Team will be listed below. If your name is not appear on the list, and you are interested in being a part of the team as a manager, then please email Coach Lindholm.
Parents AND players, now that you are a part of Trinity Volleyball, we have a couple more things for you to do by the end of the week. Please read our "Expectations" and "THS Athletic Handbook," then complete forms acknowledging you read them.
PARENTS: Read the "Expectations" page under the "HOME" tab of this website & submit the PARENT form at the bottom of that page.
PLAYERS: Read the "Expectations" page under the "HOME" tab of this website & submit the PLAYER form at the bottom of that page.
PARENTS and PLAYERS: Read the Athletics Handbook. After reading, please submit this Athletics Handbook form.
Note: Having your daughter read and complete these forms themselves, rather than just completing a form for them, is an opportunity for them to learn what being on a high school athletic team entails. Preparing your daughter for high school athletics, and Trinity in general, is one of our main purposes of TJrHVB. Please help us with this and pass on the links to your daughter.

Scoring Volunteers Needed:
We are looking for two or three parents of 7th/8th graders to score during our home matches. There is no experience necessary... Coach Lindholm and Coach Starvaggi will train you. This is an excellent way to learn the game and support your daughter and the team.
Please email Coach Lindholm if you are interested in volunteering.
