Read-a-Thon 2025
EXTRA! EXTRA!
Read all about it! The 2025 Earth School Read-a-Thon runs from Monday, February 10th through Friday, March 7th.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Let's Read!
Your Earthing sets an age-appropriate goal for the month. For example, 3 picture books, 10 pages, 1 chapter, or 20 minutes a day (encourage them to read a little more than they normally do!). And reading to your child counts!
Log
Log your reading in your booklet! Extra logs are available at school or online. At the end of the month, completed logs (10 daily entries) can be turned in for raffle tickets and kids can enter to win the prize of their choice!
Each completed log = 1 raffle ticket
Raffle prizes include a Squishmallow, gift cards to local shops, and MORE!
Get Sponsored (optional)
If you like, ask your friends and family to sponsor your reading. For example, Aunt Sally can donate $1 per book or Dad can sponsor you with $5 per Chapter. Maybe a Grandparent donates $30 for all of your efforts! You can log your sponsors on the back of your booklet. Donations can be turned in with your logs and can also be made through the PayPal and Venmo links on this page.
OR set up a page on our school's event website!
You’ll be able to easily share your excitement and reading goals by email or on social media—and be cheered on by friends and family no matter how far away!
